I just love grass the Californian golf courses have it is very lush but forgiving on the iron head but do not get to deep in the rough as it be a nightmare trying to get out again. A caddy is available at most of the courses if needed but I feel this is not necessary as I found out. Because my wayward shots I got to see a lot more of the courses rather than being directed where to hit the ball.
